Late Interviews?

I'm fortunate to have received interview invitations from many of the DO schools to which I've applied this cycle. I turned some down because of location and personal/family factors. However, there are still some that I would really like to attend if I have a reasonable shot at acceptance. I realize that many people have already interviewed at these schools and the seats are probably filling up quickly. If I have an interview scheduled in the later months like January, February, March, etc. does it severely reduce my chances to get accepted to those schools?

not really you are just competing for less seats. but that doesn't mean anything. if the school likes you, they will offer you a spot. those dates aren't likely to be interviewing for the waitlist.

Later interviews may land you a wait list instead of an outright acceptance. January might not be too bad, but I think the risk gets higher late February and on.

Yes. At that point, most schools have filled up their seats, so you're interviewing for a wait-list spot. Keep inmind that if you high on the wait-list, you are likely to turn that into an accept, providing enough people decide to go to a different school.
