I am applying this cycle. I have 3.65 oGPA and 3.45 sGPA and I have 100+ hours of shadowing and I plan to volunteer once I am done with DAT. I am applying 13 schools all over the map. I am submitting my application on 6/14/2019. As of right now I am taking the DAT July 11th, but I am thinking of pushing it back to July 26th. Will this be too late?

Write the DAT whenever you feel ready. If you can consistently get the score you want on those practice exams then you ready. Honestly, a high DAT score is much better than an early low score.

Nope. I took my DAT once in June and then again in October. You should be just fine. If you feel that you are not ready by that date, postpone it until mid August or so (since if you don't do well, you will need to wait until 90 days before retaking it).

What cycle was that?

You will be completely fine! I took my DAT during the first week of July last cycle and it was verified late July. I know of people taking it August/September and were fine as well

I hope so as I have already pushed it back and I have no preference on where go to dental school. If you can give me any other advice please share.
