I recently got a packet from Dartmouth telling me about the white coat ceremony. I figured it would be at the end of orientation week but the ceremony is not until October. That really suprised me.

Do any other schools have late white coat ceremonies?

Mount Sinai's is September 20.

Wake Forest Students don't have their white coat ceremony until October of 2nd year. However, everyone has to get a white coat during the first week of 1st year because we start going on the wards to interview patients in the first couple of weeks. Go figure.

UVM's ceremony isn't until January...guess they want to see who makes it through anatomy first...

Hopkins has theirs at the end of the first year.

the U of MN doesn't have it until the end of anatomy which is in september. they wait to give the white coat for when you see patients.

LSU-S has theirs spring of 2nd yr.
