Hi so I am a sophomore at NYU.
I decides to go premed the middle of my sophomore year but to continue my journalism major. I had taken one foundations course when I decided this. Now a semester later I love my chemistry course and am doing very well in it but hate my journalism class. We have a final piece due for my journalism class that I just am struggling with. I have decided to have a late withdrawal from the course to focus on studying for my chem final. I have also decided to take the next year off from school.
Will this LW (late withdrawal) on my transcript with the leave of absence harm my chances of getting accepted into medical school?
