Latest exam date for CK in time for ERAS submission?

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to know what's the latest I can take CK so that I can report my score the same week ERAS is open for submission (sept. 15)? Is it a 3 week turn around for scores?

They list the turn around times for Step 2 CS on the website, but never seen this posted for 2 CK.

Yes. Three weeks and that starts the Wednesday after your exam. Not sure if you take it ON a Wednesday if that counts or not.

I'm having the same issue. Would a test day of August 1st be safe?

I am in the same situation..left my ck preparation in the middle to give cs which is scheduled for june 26..planning to give ck in mid august..technically the results should be out by September 4..but there have been delays in the past few years where the result came after 6 weeks..what should I be doing..is august 15 safe..i do need atleast 1.5 months to prepare..40% of the uworld is still left and the rest I have done only once..

IMGs its better to be ECFMG Certified when they look at your app = more interviews.

But to be ECFMG certified don't you have to have graduated? I also attend a carribean medical school and am a US citizen, but I was wondering if taking the exam in june vs mid august would make a difference since either day i will get me result before sept 15!

You'd be ECFMG Eligible (or verified?) which is just as good in most cases.
