I remember when I was interviewed at SCCO, I was asked if I was aware of any laws relating to optometry. I'm sure interviewers at other schools may have asked this too. Well, here's a site that has links to every state code (just click on any state on the US map at the middle of the page):

http://www2.potsdam.edu/hansondj/StateAndLocalLaws/

Here's an example for the state of California (I did a search query for "optometry"):

http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/cgi-bin/c...c&codesection=all&codebody=optometry&hits=100

The codes are really dense, but knowing even a few laws will give you a very strong edge and you will impress your interviewer.

Hope this helps!!!
