"Smith's" just layed off 17 pharmacists in Utah...
About 10% of the class that graduated this year from my school, can't find any type of job, even out of state.

Wowser, They should get together to open up their own independent Pharmacy. 🙂

There are 50 states, I'm sure they haven't GONE to every single ONE!

Hm, what's the national unemployment rate? That sounds, I don't know, about right.

However the rest of the nation doesn't have 100K debt and some are unemployed by choice.

The unemployment figures you typically see only include those actively seeking employment, and debt >100K isn't uncommon for those with a mortgage. I'd much rather be the pharmacy student fresh out of school and unable to find a job than the 30 something who loses their job and now has 2-3 kids and a house payment they can no longer afford.
