Question: I am considering applying to get my licence in CDC. As far as experience goes, I use to work in juvenile corrects where I was assigned to the CD dorm. I worked closely with the youth's caseworkers and psychologist concerning their correctional status, AA meetings and behavioral groups. One of the senior CW encouraged me to work towards becoming a LCDC because of the work that I had been doing on the dorm.

Four years later, I find that I am reminded of that advice and have been looking into it. Does anyone have any thoughts on the LCDC. Also, what about LPC as well. My wife and I are both working towards our degree in psychology. Although we have different directions we both feel lead to go.
