The Health Professional Student Association (HPSA), publishers of SDN, are parntered with the TAKEonHIV project to promote HIV education among students. Learn more about the new National PrEP Curriculum:

The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth, Center for Health Policy (CHP) would like to understand registrants' interest and knowledge about PrEP and share the National PrEP Curriculum. There are five steps to this process which are all confidential:
  1. Complete the “PrEP Curriculum Survey” using the link below by choosing one or all five PrEP lessons that interest you (5-10 minutes)
    1. You may open the survey in your web browser by clicking the link: PrEPCurriculumSurvey
If the link above does not work, try copying the link below into your web browser: PrEP Curriculum Survey
  2. At the end of the survey click on the hyperlink to the National PrEP Curriculum or copy/paste the link into your browser to be taken to the Curriculum platform
  3. You will be prompted to join the “HPSA Students” learning group and create an account once you are on the PrEP Curriculum platform. Use the same email you used for the survey to create an account (3-5 minutes)
  4. Once you have an account, choose the same lesson(s) you picked in step one to learn more about your topic. Note: lessons are under the “self study” – “HIV PrEP Fundamentals” tabs (see screen shot) (each lesson takes about 1 hour to complete)

  1. At the end of each lesson, is a five-question survey. When you complete the survey(s) for your chosen lesson(s) in the Curriculum platform, you are finished and automatically entered into a drawing for a free HIV/HCV related conference registration in 2025.
The more lessons you complete [completion = complete the PrEP Curriculum Survey using the link above + go to PrEP Curriculum platform using link in survey, register and complete the lesson(s), and answer the five-question survey at the end of the lesson], the more chances you have to win.

Thank you in advance for your participation! The National PrEP Curriculum dissemination and evaluation is a collaboration between CHP, the University of Washington Infectious Diseases Education & Assessment (IDEA), and HPSA.
