2. Read about it online from other sources which explain things better. This includes watching video lectures from MIT OCW for instance
If you want to get those questions then besides doing the assigned problems you should spend more time understand the concepts. There are rules in every subject. Once you know what the rules are and how things work just look at the questions and recall the related concepts.
