Leaving early

Hello,
Anyone know if it is extremely frowned upon to leave an interview day a couple hours early in the afternoon because I would have to catch a flight. This is the only day I could do the interview and the email says day ends at 4pm and need to catch last flight of day at 415pm, but airport is really close? Thanks

Tell the program coordinator about the situation and see if they can arrange for your interviews to all be early in the day. They may be understanding as long as you give ample notice.

On the other hand, if this program is one of your top choices, I'd be cautious about trying to leave a couple hours early. I know it's expensive, but could you stay an extra night and take a flight out the next morning?

It's not a top program and that's why i was considering this...is it better just to not interview in case they speak with other programs in the area?
