I messed up the poll options. Just pick from 1 - 5

To those that are attending LECOM Bradenton Pharmacy school, I'm trying to get a feel for what to expect.

On a scale of 1 - 5, how hard would you say the program is? 1 being that you can study the day before or maybe not at all and do fine. 5 being so intense that it feels impossible.

It is not that any of the material is very hard, it is the fact that you will be taking 6 classes and a lab first semester and 7 classes and a lab second semester. Your days seem long, but the good time is school goes by fast because of the fact they keep you busy all the time. We had an exam every Monday during our first semester and this semester we have an exam every thursday. Because of the exam schedule you have to be studying all the time, but in terms of the actual material, so far nothing has been harder than any normal science pre-req class. Everyone has their own style and you just gotta find what works for you. I tend to study for classes as the test are approaching. If my monday test is Anatomy than I study for that class only during the week because I know I won't have another exam until next MOnday and I will worry about that class then. Others, study all their classes everyday, I just don't operate that way. My method got me through first semester with a 3.5 so I can't complain.

I see. That is refreshing to know. I have this notion in my mind that pharmacy school is going to be the most intense thing I will ever encounter, but you helped put my thoughts into perspective.

So what are your exams like? Format? Do you ever feel that some of the questions they ask you on tests were not covered in the textbook or lecture?
