I know that people in here don't like Lecom much, but I just have a few questions about the early admission. I can only apply to one school and if offered admission, i am obligated to accept it and not allowed to apply anywhere else. Anyone in here know how many they accept each year for the early admission? Cause I dont want them to accept me, and then later somehow mess up and not accept me. I know they tend to do that a lot too. Lecom is near home and 3 years program, so that's what I like about Lecom. Between Lecom and University of Cincinnati, which one would you choose? I know they're both bad 🙂 Thanks a lot.

By the way, I have a 3.75GPA, 2 years experience in the hospital pharmacy and a 33%tile PCAT...lol...I know...it's really low. Everybody in here has high PCAT score.

I applied to Lecom this past year because they didn't require PCAT so maybe that wont be a factor for them...your other credentials look great. I didn't have any problems with them this year when I applied. Something about the school that was a negative to me was that attendance was mandatory (if you're sick you have to get a Drs note) and that they had a professional dress code. I think you have a good chance...good luck

That sucks! I don't skip a lot, but I would like to have that as an option. In a class of more than 100 students, they take attendance??? Oh come on...we're in grad school, we know what's good for us. I need to find a doctor and make some connections just in case 🙂
Professional dress code?? OMG! Attendance I can handle, but dress code?? I dont think I can handle this. Thank you so much for the info. Now I have to do some serious thinking. Darn Lecom for their 3 years program!
I want to have as much info as possible before I call and ask them questions. I called on Monday, and it seemed like she was trying to get me off the phone as soon as possible that I wasn't even able to ask all my questions.

Anyone recommend the early admission thingie? 😀

There's actually been some positive comments about UC's program in the pharmacy students forum.

I'm not going to say never (never say never 😉), but... I would really consider retaking the PCAT since you have a 33 composite. If not, add some non-PCAT schools to your list. 👍
