I recently interviewed at LECOM Erie and was wondering when those of you who were accepted received notification.

I found out via a letter. For me it took about 3 weeks.

Same here, except mine took about 4 weeks because I interviewed right before Christmas (12/15). Good luck!

I interviewed December 19th. My acceptance letter was dated December 30th. It took about 4 weeks for me to get after December 19th. The adcom meets on Wednesdays and mails the letters on Wednesdays. Good luck!

Thanks for the info, I'm nervous and it's my only interview so far! I interviewed with Dr.'s Dudas and Hoogland, and when Dr. Hoogland walked me back to the room with everyone she said "Just to let you know, you interview very well." I was very happy to hear this but now that I think about it, maybe she says this to everyone....

Goog Luck! I hope you get in! BTW, how did you rank your pathways? I think that might have something to do with the waiting. (Me: ISP->PBL->LDP)

Hi Jezzielin! Actually, rooting around on this board has revealed that they may actually accept an alternate: first regardless of pathway, and then try to accomodate by pathway (courtesy of Dr. Trek's vast LECOM adcom knowledge!) So, who knows!

For some reason my LECOM sent me an acceptance for LDP but had me in their record as an alternate for ISP. I called yesterday because I haven't heard from them since sending in my deposit back in December 2005 and was told that. I told them I selected LDP as my first choice on the form we had to fill out at the interview. They told me they'd call me back, and to my surprise they did in less than 15 minutes, to tell me that a financial aid packet is on its way and that everything is fixed.

Are you an alternate for the ISP like I was? Maybe switching to LDP will help?

They accept quite a few off of the alternate list.... and since you interviewed extremely early you should be up there on the list. I hope you get in soon!!!

Does interviewing early really make any difference? I thought with my numbers I'd be at the bottom of the list... 🙁 Thanks though!

I thought I interviewed great. I love interviews and any chance to show my personality. I was in the first or second wave of interviews back in September, so I really don't feel like that has an impact at all.
