So after being accepted and requesting a deferral and not hearing anything for about a month, I decided to call. It took me a full day of calling both Elaine Morse and the DO admissions office. Anyways, finally someone picked up in the admissions office and was very helpful and wrote down all my info, telling me she'd get back to me. Sure enough, about an hour later I got a phone call from Elaine Morse herself telling me I had gotten the deferral but she hadn't sent out the letter yet.

So for all of you waiting to hear about acceptances or interviews from LECOM Erie, be patient- they are friendly but understaffed. 🙄

They should hire "younger" people who do not need to migrate to the south for the winter. :meanie:
