Hey everyone. I was fortunate to be accepted to both programs. Now I am having a difficult time deciding between the two.

I loved SOMA and their campus. The fact that I will be able to spend three years serving in community health centers (which usually contain very sick people) would be a unique opportunity and be extremely helpful in my clinical education. I am interested in the NY site and there is a chance I might not be able to spend three years there.

Erie is more established school and is more of the traditional two years didactics, two years clinical. The main reason I am apprehensive about Erie is because of the rotations. First, the school doesn't pay any of the hospitals to teach so that is a red flag on its own. Two, I heard from students that you may have to move around quite a bit.

PLEASE HELP!!

THANKS.

With LECOM you've got the ability to rotate at a wider variety of places and it's a hell of a lot cheaper.

Come join us in Southern AZ, it's only going to be 107 today.

In all seriousness, I'd take SOMA every time, but it's a personal thing on my part. We're starting orientation in like 4 days though so if you're in for the class of 2015 you have to decide quick. If you're accepted pending an open seat, take your time and decide what's important for you.

Any specifics why I should come join you?
