the school required 2 letters. I asked the school if it's ok to get 1 from an M.D. This is a reponse..

I am saying a letter from an M.D. cannot be substituted for a letter from a D.O. You can submit the M.D. letter and we will be happy to place it in your file, but it will not take the place of the D.O. You must obtain a letter of recommendation from a D.O., no exceptions to the rule. Elaine

ur confused for sure, do u want to be a MD or what?? Pharmacist? If u want to be a pharmacist then get a letter from a pharmacist or DO then get DO or if its MD then get an MD letter. If u dont want to do it then apply somewhere else that will give u more leeway.

I think LECOM-Bradenton is confused and thinks you are applying to their DO program instead of their pharmacy program.

You better e-mail/call them again and specifically state that you are applying to PharmD

maybe that's the problem. I just went to the college of pharmacy website, scrolled down to admissioon and click on the email....

I did not know that there is only 1 admission office for both DO and pharmD program. I guess I have to specify pharmD in the question.
