Has anyone viewed or lived in Mill Glenn? I'm looking for a place to live this year and won't be able to visit until mid-July, so likely will sign the lease before viewing in person. There are some negative reviews of this place from a few years ago, just wondering how things are at present.

Thanks!

A good rule of thumb for Erie is to live west of State St and south of 26th. You can easily find a good, inexpensive place to stay somewhere in the vicinity of LECOM. Are you going to live alone? I can't speak out of experience for this place

Some of the apt companies are Pastore Builders, Palermo, and Maleno. Check out their sites. Most students live in one of these companies units

I would avoid Mill Glen and Granada, which is right next to Mill Glen. Even though those two complexes are within Millcreek township (the best part of Erie), they're both fairly rundown and a hotspot for crime. There are some cheaper complexes on West 38th Street just west of LECOM if money is an issue. I can't remember the names, but I know a number of students that live out that way, and the rent is much cheaper than the complexes right next to school.
