I was just wondering if someone could tell me of a good place to search for a reasonably priced 1 bedroom apt? What is the going rate in Erie?

Have you tried www.apartments.com?

Also, the LECOM website has links to other info about the Lake Erie area. Perhaps you can find help there. Many newspapers also post their classifieds online if you can find out the name of a local paper.

Good luck.

My boyfriend attended LECOM's post bacc program, and his apartment (1 BR) was very nice. I think it was about $400 a month (He paid utilities) I'm not familiar with the area, so I don't know how competative this is, but you can check out Granada Apartments. It's right off of Kuntz Road. Try www.homestore.com also.

I'm a LECOM student (now an MS-II - 😀 ), and as Mylaina pointed out, the Grenada apartments are popular with LECOM students. I think about 20 people in my class live there. The average apartment in Erie is somewhere between $350-$400 a month (but if you live in a studio like I do, they're only about $275). You can check Erie's newspaper for apartments by going to www.goerie.com . Good luck in your apartment search!
