LECOM portal status

What's your status on the Lecom portal? I had an interview, but the portal status is blank. Has anyone spoke with Stephanie after dec third??

Mine says I will receive a letter within 30 days. I did not receive an acceptance so I'm assuming it means I am wait listed (since her email said those who are accepted and waitlisted are the only ones who will receive a letter in the mail). A blank portal could mean they are still deciding or waiting to see how many commitments they get. I would just hold on until the beginning of January when the next round of acceptances should go out (but hopefully sooner).

I had a post-dec interview at LECOM. Stephanie said, "Blank is a favorable situation! When other people turn down their acceptance, then the Blank will turn into an offer." Again, that is for post-dec interview. I am not sure whether it is also suitable to pre-dec.

It also applies to pre dec as well. I called and asked her. I wonder how many have blank statuses

Yeah,, I hope that there are not many people with blank page,, but I feel like everyone who did interview and didnt get offer might have all blank status..

nah, people have the 'decision has been made...letter 30 days' on their portal who weren't accepted according to the lecom discussion section

I am one of those people. My portal says I'll receive a letter, but I wasn't accepted on Monday.

Yeah same here, I would think if you had a pre dec interview you would either receive an acceptance or waitlist (alternative) but not sure how a rejection is handled. I'm thinking that the beginning of january (after the first deposit is due) they will select the next batch off the alternative list. I hope so anyways

I am one of those people. My portal says I'll receive a letter, but I wasn't accepted on Monday.

Just received a rejection letter in the mail today (after interviewing in early Oct, and after having the "You'll receive an official letter in 30 days, etc etc").

I hope the rest of you have better luck! 🙂

Today she sent out an email to those who have blank statuses. She mention we r in a favorable position.

I received a letter today that says I am an alternate and have the "the committee has made a...." status on their portal. So I believe they only use the world alternate and based on the status on the LECOM portal you can predict when you will get a definitive answer about your status. Just my thoughts. I don't think they use the word wait list.

I had a blank status on dec 3 and i checked today and saw it changed to : Your file is under review by the Admissions Committee. We will notify you as soon as a decision has been made.

yeah mine changed to that on last thursday.. I was hoping to get something today, but nothing happened... arg.. I wish they could just send another acceptance letters in this months,, ><

last year, ppl only had 15 days to deposit of 2000 bucks. around this time last year, a few were accepted (pretty damn early since most 2nd rounds of acceptances r in Jan)



I guess this year they gave ppl 30 days to make the deposit instead of 15 days.

My status was blank (I did not interview pre-dec) then changed to a transcript request two days ago. I sent it in and received a call yesterday asking for an additional course. I told her I had already registered for it. Today I got an email with my interview date in January
