Hi....I will be a first year student in about a week. LECOM just sent me a letter saying that our first anatomy quiz is at the end of the first week. Well...could u just give me some feedback on how difficult these quizzes/exams are going to be and how the best way to study is...Especially for the fact that I never took Anatomy in undergrad...

If I remember correctly the first quiz was hard but very fair. It all depends on what kind of student you are and how good/fast you are at figuring out what kind of student you are/what your personal studying needs are.
My personal suggestion would be not to go out drinking every night that first week (like I've heard some MD schools are able to do). Dr. B will probably have a go at you all first which means study hard that first week.
Just do your best (literally give it your all) and focus on finding time for fun and you'll be fine. I'm out of the country right now but if anyone wants to offer up last years Dr. B back notes to this person it'd probably help him/her a lot.

BUck's notes will be in the bookstore for you to purchase...just know those notes inside, outside, backward, forward, and upside down

What I remembered about that first quiz was the it was tough but definitely fair. My friends and I studied pretty hard for it and we all did well on the quiz. But we got our butts kicked on our first exam about a week after that. Buck is difficult but know his course packet well and you should pass...as you will soon learn that is all that matters!! good luck!

I just looked on the LECOM server and they posted the general concepts quiz and answers from last year. So once you have your password, you can access the server and get a copy of the quiz from last year. This wil really help you to see how the questions are written.
