I was wondering which of the two is better. If you could list your reasons, I'd appreciate it.

Overall I liked both programs. MWU is really expensive though. By around 60-80k since they plan on increasing the tuition by ~5%. However, I believe MWU will offer a better education. Both schools are far from my home state. I wouldn't mind living in either state though. Florida would probably be nicer though lol. What do you guys think?

I like MWU with no reason!

I was in your situation a while back when I was picking between Indiana and LECOM. at LECOM there is no rotation since theres no specialty programs in the school. Although the fourth year is completely unproven when they send you to a hospital (which Ive actually heard rumors that they dont pay the hospitals well so the hospitals dont really care about you).

This might not be an issue for you, but the impression I got from the students at LECOM was that they were really full of themselves (for being in a dental school) instead of being grateful and wanting to work hard for the opportunity. I also saw none of that "all students are a family and helping each other" atitude.

LECOM doesn't rank you, so it will be extremely hard to get into a specialty school.

On the pro though, LECOM is a relatively easier school (less stressful) and its probably alot nicer in Florida.

Bottom line I decided on Indiana (65k/year tuition) because I honestly believe that this is the start of a journey for me and Im 90% set on doing continuing education after dental school (specialty etc...). If I knew that I just wanna be a dentist, taking the easiest route, I wouldve picked LECOM.

Just my opinion. Happy picking

I really like how OP asked for LECOM Vs MWU, and you did your version of Indiana vs LECOM

But yeah, the only cool thing I like about LECOM is its location.

LECOM and MWU don't offer any specialty programs. So I would have to work hard at either school.

For LECOM, I thought they send you to a clinic in Florida or PA that they built. I feel like the staff will be nice lol. I might be wrong.

As for the students, I liked them at MWU and LECOM. I felt the opposite of what you thought lol.

Oh I had no idea MWU doesnt offer specialties. In that case, your decision got alot tougher. good luck though
