I got 4 LORs: 1 from chem prof, 1 from my major (anth prof), 1 from the dean, 1 from a dentist

Will this be it for every dental school?
unlv told me I got to have 2 science LORs, but i think anthro. can be thought of as a science thing. Will schools like this make you send another one?
This is frustrating, kissing up to professors is not my hobby!

nope.. anthro is not a science. you will have to suck it up and kiss up to another science professor.

Yeah, I thought my engineering LORs would be counted as science because they're science for the GPA but some of the schools said no. I didn't even bother getting to know my 300+ student science professors...my engineering classes are usually about 15 people so I thought those would be way better.

My science LORs are going to be:

"He got X in my class. I think he'll make a good dentist" ........

they have a template.. where they insert your name and grade. j/k. i actually sat down w/ my sci professor and we talked while he was typing it up.

No, that will not cover it for every school. Two of the schools I'm applying to (Tufts and Maryland) require a letter from each a biology professor and a chemistry professor. It sucks because I'm a biochem major and have therefore taken mostly smaller chemistry courses. I graduated this spring, but taking a microbio course this summer with hope of getting a letter from the professor to fulfill the stupid requirement of a bio letter 😡

haha i know. I got 4 already, all I need to do is kiss one more ass. I feel weird as hell doing this, but I got to do what I got to do. The ambarassment in between doesn't matter, because the ends justify the mean.
