I looked at the interview feedback on SDN for UIC, and I saw that most of the interviews last around 30 minutes and are one-on-one with approximately three people. I assume that the interview was a total of 30 minutes (since the group interviews also lasted 30 minutes), so how exactly does that work if the interviews are one-on-one? Do you speak to each person for only 10 minutes?

A 30-minute interview seems so short (although I know they have multitudes of applicants to interview), especially for something as important as medical school. Maybe the total interview actually lasts for 1.5 hours with 30 minutes with each person??

I spent about 20 minutes with each of my interviewers

yeah it's there is an 30 minutes available for each, but people usually don't take that long. but if u can, go for it!

Wow, my interview lasted an hour and we were still talking when the interviewer had to end it because they had other things to get to. A thirty min interview, heck a 20 min interview... wow thats short

yep... that's the way they're scheduled since doing away with the panel interview 👎
