I wonder wonder if some of your established pharmacist could chime in. Has pharmacy every been a 2 yeer program? Ever? In the 90s or 80s?

Thanks

Pharmacist was a 2 year program about a hundred years ago. http://www.uic.edu/pharmacy/about_the_college/history.php
The last 2 year program, the Graduate in Pharmacy degree, at UIC was discontinued in 1926. A three year program replaced in, and in 1932, the 4 year bachelors degree replaced it. The 4 year bachelors degree became a 5 year program in the 1960s, and the PharmD, 6 years, became standard at UIC in 1984.
