Less 'competitive' post-bacc programs?

it has everything and al lthe programs for people with low gpas...and all the other conditions....look at different categories....good luck...(unfortunately, i have bunch of info on HES HCP which you are no longer looking into..) but if you have any general questions or even questions on HES HCP ...feel free to PM me....

I'm not sure about program that are still open for this Fall but if you are interested in post bac for next year you should check out the post-bac program @ California. I am currently at the UCSF post-bac program (just starting) and it is amazing, to say the least. I wouldn't say that it's not competitive to get in but they look at your whole package, your extracurricular and your GPA trend the last two years. So you might want to take another year of upper division science classes @ your state university just to show that you can handle the load before applying.

The tough part is that you have to be a california resident and show that you come from a disadvantage background.

If nothing works out for you this upcoming year, just take advanced science courses at any accredited 4 year school, preferably somewhere that has some "name," and get a 4.0. If you take nearly a full course load, this will act as an unofficial postbac, letting you pull your GPA up at least somewhat. That way, next year, you should be able to get into a formal Postbac, or even an SMP.
