Programs have certain dates where they mention there will be "less interaction with faculty" (mentioned in the invite). These are especially those interviews on a Saturday, or those during Christmas-New Years' time. What does this mean? Has anyone been to any such interviews where you found that there was really a difference? If you are anyway meeting with the PD and your interviewers, how is the faculty interaction less? Do you meet faculty on rounds, during lunch,etc?

Any examples would also help understand this. Thanks.
