Hi guys,

There are 3 dental school in Texas: Baylor,San Antonio, Houston.

I wanted to ask you to share information that you have about these schools. How would you rank them in your list?

Starting myself:

Baylor has probably the best clinic experience you can get compare to others. The school location is in down town, its not a very nice neighborhood.I kind of feel like students in Baylor are on their own meaning the competition is so high that you are kind of on your own. I dont know if this is true or not, its just my impression of the school. They do very well on board exams. San Antonio had good campus. people were really nice,they are trying to be up-date and care about their school alot. Students in Houston were much more laid back compare to other schools, I like that alot. They are supportive of each other and they said alot of good stuff about their school. Their campus is in Houston Medical Center which is huge, I like that too.

1. Baylor
2. UTSA
3. UTH

I will be interviewing with UTH and UTSA very soon, so I will give you a better opinion around Nov. 15th.

*I don't know much about Houston but my guess is probably accurate.

Based on reputation, my list would be:

1) San Antonio
2) Baylor
3) Houston

However, my personal list of where I would go...

1) Houston
2) Baylor
3) San Antonio

All 3 schools are very solid. Therefore, my final decision would have come down to location, location, location.

I know nothing about Houston or San Antonio, but I know Baylor has their students do inordinate amounts of lab work. That would be a deal breaker for me.
