I was wondering when the FAFSA forms need to be submitted in order to be eligible for aid this year, and what other forms should be in order. Should you submit an FAFSA even if you are still waiting to hear from certain schools?

I can only comment on my situation, I am going to OSU. I believe you should definitely submit the FAFSA and it should be done sooner rather than latter.
You may want to read through OSU's finical aid "guide".

I would definitely get started on it as soon as you're done with your taxes, but the deadline depends on the school. ISU's FAFSA deadline is early March, but I remember it wasn't til like August or September for my undergraduate school. The bottom line is the earlier you submit your FAFSA, the more loans you'll be eligible for--loans have application deadlines, too! Good luck!

My undergrad school has always wanted it done by Feb 15th. And some of the schools I am applying to want it by early February too.

Most schools I've seen want it in by March. But the earlier the better.

You don't have to wait to specify which school you're going to. You can input multiple schools if you're not sure or are still waiting to hear. Obviously if schools are telling us to get it in by March, but we don't have to make a decision until April 15, there's a way of working it out.

I believe you can list up to ten schools on your FAFSA, but I'm not sure how you designate the fact that you're only going to attend one of them. I called them about this recently because I am going to be attending a two different schools between fall and spring and they just told me to list both of them on the FAFSA. It seems like the situation is somewhat similar, so I hope that helps a little!

Submit FASFA as soon as you can. If you don't know what schools you can list all the one's you applied to. Then you will just get a denial for financial aid from the schools you end up not going to.

Hi,
If your'e looking for information on financial aid you should check out http://REMOVED..info . They give you free information on the list of colleges offering financial assistance and scholarships to students based on your area of study and the degree you choose.

Seems like a sham site which only supports non-accredited online schools. Just start with normal FAFSA, then go from there IMO

Yeah.. well considering jennifer there has only 2 posts (both with the same content) and joined up recently, it most likely is a crap website.

😴

Yea, looks like "Jennifer" has only had 2 posts on this site... both in financial aid forums, and both identical. How do we get that account removed?

Haha, guess I was still looking at her page while you were posting that 😛

ETA: I reported the post...
