letter from usc

I received a letter from usc saying that my application is complete and will remain under review until school starts next fall. Does that mean I'm being waistlisted?

Did you get that as an e-mail or letter? I was under review on AADSAS and got an interview via e-mail on Friday. If you just got something in the mail it may be a bad sign as they probably sent out a bunch of invites/those letters at the same time, but if its an e-mail it was probably just the confirmation that they got all your stuff.

It was a letter. Anyone else got this? My status on the usc status page said "under review"

I received the same letter from USC where it said "your application has completed the preliminary review and will remain under consideration until the class is finalized in early August." Does that mean i'm waitlisted? Anyone??? thanks!!!

hey i got the same letter and freaked out like you guys so i called them. The lady told me what it means is that your application is actually being reviewed now by the committee and has nothing to do about being waitlisted. Hope that helps.

to everyone who got that letter, keep the faith. i received that same letter about 3 weeks ago and figured that i was not going to get an invite. and then on friday i received an email from sc inviting me for an interview. i think that the letter is more / less of a confirmation in writing and not a notice that you are waitlisted.

my aadsas app mailed out 6/30/08, revisions mailed out 8/11/08. still no interview yet, so worried sighhhhhh....

One question, does it say in your letter that "100% of our last year's students had earned their bachelors degree, and many of them had higher degrees..." ?
I had a similar letter too that says my application is complete and will remain under review, but I was just wondering if your letter says the above as well? I'm asking this because I don't have a bach, and was wondering if they wrote that regarding my case or for everyone.

That was also written in my letter ... I have 2 bachelors so dont worry. I think everyone got the same generic letter. Best of luck!

Thx. I thought they were somehow saying that I don't have a bachelors degree, and that was a problem.
