I'm trying to decide which school I'm sure I want to commit to with my LOI. Truthfully, I love both schools, but I think I don't know enough to help me figure out what to choose.
I love both NYC and Philly. Slight preference for NYC, but not a big deal.
Cornell has debt free initiative for all students, meaning they cover all but the expected family contribution (I am in my 30s, estranged from my family and both parents are retired so I imagine my EFC can't be that high?). Penn has some scholarships, and some scholarship matching but idk that I'd get it.
Specialty interests: psychiatry, radiology, anesthesia. Which school is better in these regards?
Campus culture: students seemed a lot friendlier at Cornell, but I'm not sure if that's just a coincidence from the small sample size I've come across at each school.
How's academic rigor and administration support?
At each school, I had one interview I was confident about and one that I felt a little iffy about. So I really don't know which one I have a higher chance of getting into.
