I was wondering how much weight a letter of recommendation from a Dean at Harvard Medical School (working in his lab 1.5 years full time post-grad, traveling with him etc.) could possibly effect your application (to Harvard) if you have decent stats (3.45; 32), but well below average for Harvard?
Has anyone ever come across anyone in this situation? Just wondering if I should count on it helping me out a bit or not. I wasn't even planning on applying to Harvard or any top schools because of my low GPA, but everyone at Harvard Med insisted I do so.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! 🙂
