If you send in your letters to AMCAS, how long does it take for the letter to be ready to be sent out to the schools?

If you send in your letters to AMCAS, how long does it take for the letter to be ready to be sent out to the schools?

Presumably on the order of days, not weeks. The only data points to share are when AMCAS tells you they have received your letters and when the schools themselves tell you they have received them from AMCAS. In my experience, it's been on the order of days.

I sent mine from Interfolio (electronic) on June 24th (Fri); it was marked as "received" on AMCAS on June 27th (Mon)... pretty fast 🙂

If your school has virtual evals, ie your career center sends it out electronically, it'll be ready very fast. In my own experience, my school uploaded my letter packet and within 20-30 minutes I was able to assign them to schools (ie that same day).
