Why are you waiting to submit your secondaries until you have your letters?
Did your school not have a committee letter?
Are all of those 39 schools okay with one science letter?( Most want 2.)
Unless specifically asked by MD schools doctor letters are not needed. DO schools love then.
If there is nobody else that you can get a science letter from I’d move on and forget the doctor letter.

Whether the not letter could be considered science, you still only have two academic letters. It’s been awhile but isn’t there some way you can change that one letter to not received or something? You still need another academic letter I feel.

I’d agree that only 2 letters from faculty and 2 physician letters seems like an odd balance and fewer academic letters than some schools want.

I’m assuming you’ve double checked letter requirements from all schools you’re applying to and made sure that the combination you have meets what they want?
