letter of recs? when does AADSAS send it??

ok so i already submitted my application a month ago..and aadsas received 2 of my letter of recs Aug 28th..

i know i need one more and im working on that, but for the 2 that AADsas already has, do athey automatically send them to the schools or do you have to tell them too? im so stressed =(

please help

They will send out your letters to the schools without hearing from you but I am guessing they will wait for your 3rd letter before they do so. I am not sure about that b/c I had my school's pre-health dept send them out for me and they sent them all at once.

You might want to call them to make sure how it'll work. I remember it seemed like forever for them to send out the letters once they had them but hopefully they're getting quicker.

I'm sure you already know this, but you can check the status of your letters on AADSAS's site.

I'm not sure if they'll wait for your third before sending, but I heard it normally takes around 2-3 weeks to send after they receive them. Mine got to aadsas on the 8/29 (after they were lost in July for awhile) and I hope they will be sent out this week. But, some schools take letters directly (uop, ohsu, unlv... not ucla or ucsf) which can speed up the process if aadsas lost your letters.
