it's time to narrow our choices down to - one school. have you been writing letters to schools that you would like to decline their offer of admission?
what exactly should we write?

I just sent back the acceptance form most of them had sent, checked off decline, and wrote where I'll be going instead...nothing fancy

The basic formula is punctual, short, direct, and gracious. Waiting's method was very acceptable. If you want to add a personal touch, you can enclose a cover note thanking the dental school ad com for all the courtisies that were extended to you.
