Hi Everyone,

I am applying to general surgery and I submitted my CAF last week. I recently found out that I got AOA but I didn't put that in my CAF because I didn't know that I got AOA at that time. My school will send out the Dean's Letter on Nov 1 and so the programs will find out then but my question is should I inform programs now that I am AOA through email, or by revising my personal statement and re-assigning it or through some other method?

Thanks and good luck to everyone else.

Change it on your CAF now and programs will be notified of the update and download the new app.

Congrats!

Thanks NDESTRUKT

Good luck to you too.

They will find out through your Dean's Letter, and that should be sufficient. I don't think you need to re-upload your CAF.

AOA status is specifically put under your "profile" which can be updated at any time. Just go on there and change it.
