DELAYED SEPARATION OF UMBLICAL CORD
SO PATHOMA EXPLAINS: THAT AS SOON AS THE CHILD IS BORN THE UMBLICAL CORD WHICH HAD NORMALLY BLOOD FLOWING THROUGH IT IS SEALED CLAMPED AND DIES. THERES NO MORE BLOOD FEEDING IT AND THE TISSUE DIES OF NECROSIS.
AFTER NECROSIS COMES IN ACUTE INFLAMMATION .THIS ACUTE INFLAMMATION HELPS THE UMBLICAL CORD TO FALL OF FROM THE BABY.THIS IS BECAUSE THE NEUTROPHILS DESTROY THE TISSUE & THE CORD FALLS OFF.
