I wanted to know if any of you have heard about this company called Lexagene based in Beverly, MA that has a machine coming out called the MiQLab in the next month or so that can detect pathogens in 1 hour via PCR? I am not a vet (am MD), but came across this company on an investor forum. Wanted to gauge if vets are aware of this company and if it is legitimate? Thanks.

Was not aware, not sure if legit  The diagnostic market is pretty heavily covered already by some huge companies (Idexx, Antech). Not sure there going to be much of a vet market for rapid PCR testing alone...

I finally got the confirmation I was looking for when Ethos Vet announced it is buying a unit. I think Ethos is going to make some diagnostic panels of its own using the Lexagene MiQLab. They will probably buy more units in the future if they are happy with this one. I will establish a position now that Ethos and Upenn have bought units. LexaGene Receives Purchase Order from Ethos
