Licensure Question

Hi--

I am a 3rd year and I have reviewing some of the state applications for licensure and i noticed they ask about misdemeanors and such...i have two drinking violations from undergrad and I have to tell them about them as they were misdemeanors, one was possesion of alcohol under the legal age and one was public intox, will these violations hamper my chances of getting a license or is it just a formality that they just have to ask.
