What is required for licensure? A year of inernship and and step3 or is passing step 3 enough in some states?

Depends on the state. In some you can be fully-licensed after completing 1 year of residency & step 3. Others require 2 years of residency & at least one state requires 3 years of residency. You're going to have to check with the licensure boards of whatever states you're wondering about.

lisencure is not universal. Each state has its own rules. They also have different rules/requirements for USMDs, DOs, and FMGs.

I dont think passing step 3 is enough in any state. I think all at least require internship.
