If you have successfully finished a formal postbacc/master's program and have received acceptance into an MD school, we would definitely appreciate if you answer these following questions:

1.) Which postbacc/master's program did you attend? And, what was your overall impression about the program?

2.) What was your cGPA, sGPA, and post bacc GPA? MCAT scores would be great too.

3.) What MD program did you get into?

Hopefully these questions will help many of us and I personally thank your inputs.

So I've been told...

LOL

by a number of good friends who are in both top Md schools and DO programs...

even if my GPA is a 3.09... My EC's are solid enough, and the fact I have my MS... if I score a 30+ on the MCAT, I'll be golden for any med program.

I don't know how realistic this is, but I don't know. A buddy of mine knows a few of the admissions people at an md school which will remain anonymous for now. He told me that if I apply before a certain date, he'll write me an outstanding personal reference for admission into the school/program.

I didn't know how legit this is, but now I wonder.

Anyhow, I have my MS... and most people say it's useless, but a couple who are IN med school told me it reflects very positively on me even if I don't have a strong ugrad GPA b/c it shows my character as a student... my discipline, and drive.

hmmm

😕What does this have to do with the thread...?
