jplaster said:It's not easy that's for sure, and it requires extreme dedication. I have class every day from 8:30-3:30, so in order to keep a decent workout schedule I go the gym in the morning at 5 am. Then right after class I take a one hour nap and hit the books. Around 7 I take a break and eat something, maybe visit friends or watch some tv. After that it's back to the books until time to get some sleep.
?! shoot. im gonna be fat now. my health will be the first thing to go. its ironic how im pursuing a career in the healthfield though
. if it were so, i would have gone to business school. i can think too.dgroulx said:I had lots more time during my 1st two years of school. Now, I get up at 5am and do school work. My class times vary. Tomorrow, I have a class at 8:00am, so I have to leave here at 6:30 because of traffic. I'll be done with campus classes at noon, then I'll drive home. Then I get to watch the lectures from Gainesville. Tonight, I'll be studying for pharmacotherapy. We have a disease state every two days. Since we already learned all the drugs last year, we have to apply it this year and also learn all the OTC drugs. Then after you perform in class, you have to peer review all of your classmates who also got called on that day. When we write SOAP notes, we have to peer review everyone on our team. These things are required busy work and you will receive a zero for your grade if you don't do them.
On top of that, each week, I have 8-9 quizzes, assignments and exams. I spend a lot of time studying. I average 6 hours of sleep per night and have stopped all attempts at exercise. There is no time. Year 3 sucks. If it was like this my first year, I probably would have dropped out.

What I care the most is that I get in to the pharmacy school...I really want to become a pharmacist....... I know I'll dedicate most of my time studying......Can't wait to get my hands on my first "pharmacy text book" 😀 😛
I will gladly make pharmacy school my life for 4 years to make it out successfully! 😛ndearwater said:Ditto! If I get in I will be so grateful that I'll sleep with my books covering me like a blanketI will gladly make pharmacy school my life for 4 years to make it out successfully! 😛

im not that worried about the workload - i actually come from a well-known university, so i know what it means to work hard. my purpose in asking my question was simply out of curiosity - so please dont become self-righteous on me and begin teaching me work habits (i realize i sound like a slacker in my first post)
fenil, im not in it for the money. if it were so, i would have gone to business school. i can think too.
again, thanks for your comments. i really appreciate them 😀
