Has anyone worked for them? Received a job offer from them, Apparently they bought a lot of therapy clinics and added "providers." Just curious if anyone has or does work for them, good? Bad?
Bad here in the Midwest. Just a factory.Has anyone worked for them? Received a job offer from them, Apparently they bought a lot of therapy clinics and added "providers." Just curious if anyone has or does work for them, good? Bad?
Thank you. It sounds like the greatest job ever, but usually if it sounds to good to be true, probably is, I'm in Michigan and they are popping up everywhere. "It's your practice but we take care of everything for you" "we bill insurance for no shows" I think they can bill insurance for no shows but I'm pretty sure insurance doesnt payBad here in the Midwest. Lifestance is now a publicly traded company. I’d also keep that in mind for anyone considering working for them. That means their primary obligations are legally to their shareholders, not patients and certainly not you.
Working for a publicly traded outpatient practice that has zero innovation in how/why they are going to offer better healthcare using stock funding to fuel crazy growth has got to be number 1 on my list of nightmare employer. I am astonished they can get so many people to take these jobs. It's not like other fields of medicine where the barriers to PP are much higher.Their rate of acquisition has been heating up, and their EPS has skyrocketed. My assumption is that they're going to offer an initial package that looks good, but when it comes time to reup that contract, they are going to start slashing salary rates and benefits to try to limit the rate that they are burning cash. They're also buying up a lot of practices in my area. Never heard of them 2 years ago, now there are more than 10 clinics in my metro area.
