I am currently trying to decide between two fields that seem fairly similar to me, but I'm concerned about lifestyle. I am a little older (in my 30s) and I have a little young'n (2.5 yrs old) and am planning on having at least one more. I am really not willing to spend crazy hours away from my daughter. So, the two fields I'm thinking about are psych and neuro. I've read ad nauseum the posts that discuss psych v neuro, but I just don't know how the lifestyles compare. I know how they differ subject/clinical wise, but I am not sure if you can have a nice lifestyle with neuro (ie, can you have an outpt practice only, or is that hard financially cause of the lack of procedures, etc?) Anyway, just thought I'd ask you all for your thoughts. Thanks so much in advance.
