Likelyhood of Acceptance based on Interview Date

Does having an earlier interview give you a better chance of being accepted? Or does it really not matter as long as its before Dec 1?

I think every school is different....Ive heard some schools if you interview earlier then its better and others Ive heard it doesnt matter. Example-When I was at my Michigan interview they told me if you interview early that you have a really good chance of acceptance and I also heard at my Midwestern interview that it doesnt matter when you interview.
