I'd like to hear from other students in my same position, past students who have sent in their secondaries prior to August 1, and anyone with decent knowledge of this process...

I sent in all 16 secondaries very early, but have a low MCAT score(low 20'2). I expected to hear from a number of schools by now...or should I say I expected rejections already. Anyhow, I see others have received rejections already. Why is my application status being delayed? Everything is in..including LOR's, scores, etc. Do schools look at mediocre applications that they are not sure about and take them out at later meetings after taking in the most qualified students for interviews?

Hello pjc, don't worry your rejections will arive soon! 😀

I am in the same boat... this is all part of the process... a test of one's character; however, you should contact schools to make sure your file is complete. They will not review your application until all materials are sent in.

I have only been rejected by one post secondary school, DMU. If I am patient I will get the rest soon. Until then... :luck:

Yes.. definetly contact the schools and make sure your application is complete.. sometimes they may think they are waiting for a LOR but in reality it is there. That is what happen to me.

I sent my application out to 11 places. I got supplements from 9 (Kansas city not yet.. but they told me they mailed it.. since they had trouble... and VCOM... I got a letter saying that they will decide in 6-8 weeks if they will send me a supplement).

KCOM just responded
NSUCOM was the first
Arizona second
UNE third.
DMU replyied recently.. and said my application is on "Hold"

COMP thinks they are waiting for LOR even though they aren't
CCOM did not reply
PCOM did not reply
LECOM not reply

good luck
