Hi I am not applying until next year but when I was looking at a dental school's ASDA website they posted that you should limit yourself to 3 dental experiences for your application. Granted, I know that's not ADEA so I went on their website to double check and nowhere is there a limit stated regarding the amount of dental related experiences you can mention. (At least from what I saw) I just wanted to know why the group would say that. When it listed that it implying volunteering experiences related to dentistry as well and personally I would feel cheated out of the hours I spent following around dental students assisting them in the dental clinics if I couldn't mention that in addition to the time I spent shadowing dentists. I honestly think a good amount of exposure to multiple practices is very valuable, not every practice is perfect and obviously they didn't all go to the same dental school. Is this a limitation I cannot see unless I open up the application and applied this cycle? Would any of you say you should really stop at 3 or that there is a limit?
