In what tradition/orientation do you use limited bedside ECHO?

That is, do you have the apex of the heart to the left or right of the screen?

Has anyone trained with one orientation and then switched? Why the switch?--to assimilate with the rest of the fellows? vs. to become more advanced by learning from the cardiologists? vs. other?

I'm considering re-learning my mind...thinking about putting the apex on left...
