To any residents, preceptors, or RPDs: how important is it for an applicant to have an updated LinkedIn page when applying for PGY1?

I don’t have time to even google candidates unless they have red flags.

I wouldn't have thought of checking LinkedIn for students. For professionals, though - absolutely! But it's a good idea to keep it updated anyway.
